Ban Ki-moon pays tribute at Paris attack sites

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon pays his respects to the victims of the November 13 terror attacks at a memorial outside the Bataclan concert venue in Paris, on December 6, 2015UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon paid homage to the victims of the Paris attacks on Sunday with a visit to the concert hall and one of the bars targeted by the jihadists. Ban described Paris as a “symbol of resistance” and was joined by Mayor Anne Hidalgo, who said the UN secretary general had asked to make the visit. The attacks, which left 130 dead, struck several bars and restaurants in eastern Paris, as well as the national stadium.
