Brazilians take to streets against impeachment

Crowds waving the red banner of the ruling Workers’ Party had already begun to gather in the capital Brasilia where the main protest was due later, headed by controversial former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Meanwhile an impeachment committee held hearings in Congress, where the full lower house is expected to vote on Rousseff’s fate by mid-April.
