Canada adds 26,000 jobs in May

Employment gains have been “subdued” since mid-2013, Statistics Canada said. Oil-rich Alberta province saw an increase in employment last month while the island province of Newfoundland experienced job losses. There were more people working in educational services, accommodation and food services, as well as in agriculture in May.
