Doping - Portugal's government vows to resolve doping lab issues– Portugal’s government on Monday vowed to take the necessary steps to get its national anti-doping laboratory re-accredited. The LAD laboratory in Lisbon was suspended by the World Anti-doping Agency (WADA) on Friday, alongside the Russian anti-doping laboratory. “We must take the right measures to resolve a serious and urgent situation,” said the government in a statement following a meeting between the secretary of state for sports Joao Paulo Rebelo and laboratory chiefs.
