Ex-banker has edge in tight Peru presidential vote

Kuczynski had 50.58 percent of the vote against 49.42 percent for Fujimori, with 36 percent of votes counted, the national elections office said. Kuczynski, known as “PPK,” earlier urged his supporters to wait for the full official results, but was confident of victory.
