Fiorina to join 10 other Republicans in CNN debate

Fiorina, the only woman in the crowded Republican field, has been rising in the polls since being widely viewed as the winner of the “undercard” debate of lower-polling candidates last month in Cleveland. The former Hewlett-Packard chief executive officer benefited from a change in rules by CNN to include any candidate who ranked in the top 10 in polling since the Aug. 6 debate or anyone in the top 10 in polls from July 16.
