French interior minister warns of Euro 2016 terror risk

Bernard Cazeneuve was speaking a day before a cabinet meeting on plans to further extend France’s state of emergency, imposed after the Islamic State group attacks on Paris in November that killed 130 people. The government last week announced it was doubling the security budget for fan zones — which are set to welcome up to eight million supporters in the 10 host cities across France — to 24 million euros ($28 million).
