German transport minister in US talks on VW scandal

Germany’s Alexander Dobrindt on Monday met Anthony Foxx to discuss Volkswagen, the auto giant which has been under fire since revelations that it purposely evaded US emissions limits. “I offered the US government to bring them up to date on a regular basis,” said Dobrindt, according to a statement from German officials.
