Officer, 37, becomes third woman to pass US Ranger school

Lisa Jaster, a major in the Army Reserves, successfully completed the grueling course, Army spokesman Robert Purtiman said, confirming a story in the Washington Post. When she graduates along with 87 men, she will join just two other women, Captain Kristen Griest, 26, and First Lieutenant Shaye Haver, 25, in gaining a coveted Ranger tab.
