French telecom operator Orange CEO Stephane Richard is to visit Israel after his plans to review ties with a local firm sparked a boycott rowThe boss of French telecoms giant Orange flew into Israel Thursday for a two-day visit in a bid to soothe Israeli anger over a boycott row. An official in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office told AFP that the premier would meet Stephane Richard on Friday and an Orange group spokeswoman said he also planned to meet former president Shimon Peres. Richard visited a company facility in Tel Aviv and Orange said he would hold a “get together” with staff from other local subsidiaries during the evening.
