Paris police beef up security for Tour de France finish

Cycling’s most famous race will reach its conclusion with a sprint down the Champs-Elysees boulevard in the heart of the French capital. Paris police, on a heightened state of alert following the Bastille Day assault that killed 84 people in Nice and the November terror attacks in the capital, are taking no chances and vowed Saturday “enhanced” security measures.
