Paul Ryan is unanimously nominated to be speaker again

Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., has been unanimously nominated to keep his post by fellow House Republicans after rumors of a revolt within the party. The nomination comes a week after the end of a contentious campaign in which Ryan and President-elect Donald Trump did not always see eye to eye. Ryan declared, “Welcome to the dawn of a new unified Republican government.”
