Trial of Strasbourg 'jihadists' opens in Paris

A court sketch made on May 30, 2016 shows suspected jihadists, facing charges of criminal association with a view to commit acts of terrorism, during their trial in Paris courthouseSeven suspected jihadists, including the brother of one of the suicide bombers in last November’s Paris attacks, went on trial in Paris on Monday. The men, now aged between 24 and 27, travelled to Syria at the end of 2013 and returned to France a few months later. Among the defendants was Karim Mohamed-Aggad, the brother of Foued Mohamed-Aggad who took part in the November 13 Paris attacks that killed 130 people.
