U.S. President Obama announces that San Antonio Mayor Castro will be his choice as the new Secretary of HUD at the White House in WashingtonBy Steve Holland WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama elevated fast-rising Latino politician Julian Castro to the national stage on Friday, nominating the San Antonio mayor as the next secretary of housing and urban development.
