Yemen foes resume direct talks after mediation

Three joint working groups, formed by the UN last week, discussed during face-to-face meetings written proposals tabled by the two delegations to resolve the 13-month conflict, UN special envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed said in a statement. Ould Cheikh Ahmed praised the delegations for their cooperation but warned that problems still existed.
